PLANT CITY, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say a logging truck driver was injured when a train hit his truck at a Tampa Bay area rail road crossing. The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office reports that Roberto Febles was crossing tracks near Plant City yesterday when a southbound CSX cargo train hit the trailer. The flatbed trailer was loaded with timber.

STARKE, Fla. (AP) - Florida has executed a man convicted of murdering two relatives to prevent one of them from testifying against him in a burglary trial. Robert Hendrix was pronounced dead at 6:21 yesterday evening at Florida State Prison in Starke. Prosecutors say that in August 1990, Hendrix killed his cousin, Elmer Scott, and his cousin's wife, Michelle.

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - New graduates of the University of South Florida can frame their diplomas - but not a selfie of their walk across the commencement stage. The university's Division of Student Affairs is warning students against inappropriate behavior at the ceremonies. That includes taking "selfies" on stage.

MIAMI (AP) - Environmental advocates want a federal judge to reopen their case against Miami-Dade County and the U.S. government over repairs to a crumbling sewer system. Attorneys for the Biscayne Bay Waterkeeper plan to file today to reopen the case.
