He plans to wait until about 45 minutes before tip-off to "put everything in ink." Spoelstra says he expects everyone to be ready for the showdown between the two-time defending NBA champs and the team with the NBA's best record this season.
DAVIE, Fla. (AP) - Miami Dolphins cornerback Dimitri Patterson has been placed on the reserve-injured list because of a groin injury that has bothered him since September. Reserve cornerback R.J. Stanford also went on the reserve-injured list today with a right leg injury. The moves end the season for both players.

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (AP) - The New Yorker's Roger Angell has won the J.G. Taylor Spink Award for meritorious contributions to baseball writing. He is the first writer to earn the honor who was never a member of the Baseball Writers' Association of America.
