Bloomberg addressed the graduates speaking about immigration reform and said about 30 percent of Stanford’s 5,000 graduates had attended college on student visas. He also mentioned that many of those same students without a way to work in the U.S. legally would have to return to their countries to compete with American companies.

    Police have caught the suspect who assaulted a 92-year-old man taking his bible and glasses. Authorities say 40-year-old Francisco Flores allegedly followed 92-year-old Ricardo Velez inside the front door of his West 18th Street building in Chelsea Monday night. Flores knocked down the elderly victim to the ground and took his bible and glasses. Velez suffered a broken hip in the assault and is still hospitalized at Bellevue Hospital.

    Police have caught the suspect who assaulted a 92-year-old man taking his bible and glasses.
