FOX Hilities Game of the Week rules (web copy) - FOX 35 News Orlando

Each Friday, beginning August 31, 2012 through December 31, 2012, four high school football game match-ups will be selected by FOX 35 for the public to then vote for the "Game of the Week". Vote for your favorite to be the "Game of the Week" of the week.

• Must be legal Florida resident, 13 or older, with lawful access to the Internet and valid e-mail address.
• No purchase necessary.  Void where prohibited.

How to Vote

• TEXT: send a text message to 36948 (FOX4U) with one of the following keywords in the body of the message: GAME 1, GAME 2, GAME 3, or GAME 4 which will be announced during Fox 35 newscasts. 

  OR

  ONLINE ENTRY: To vote, go to www.myfoxorlando.com and click on the “Game of the Week” link and follow through to the on-line entry page. Voters will be asked to enter their email address and password to their Myfoxorlando.com account.  If voters do not have an account with www.myfoxorlando.com they will be prompted to create one before they can register to vote.  To create an account, enter voters email address and create a password, then fill out an online form with name, address, phone number and age.  Once voters are registered, they can vote.

  • Voting begins each Friday at 11:00 PM local time and all votes must be cast by 10:30 PM local time each Wednesday of the voting period.
  • There can be only one vote per computer/contestant/email address each hour of the voting period
  • All voting must be manual.  No bots or automated voting is allowed.
  • Check back every week for a new "Game of the Week" poll!

The Prize(s)

• The winning match-up will receive the title of "Game of the Week".  WOFL FOX 35 will send a photographer to videotape portions of the  "Game of the Week", and may, in its sole discretion, broadcast highlights of the winning match up during newscasts.  The high school team that wins the actual match-up game will receive a plaque presented at their school's following Friday Night game.   (E.R.V. $24.00).  Prizes supplied by WOFL FOX 35.

• Odds of winning are one in four.

• Employees of Sponsors and immediate families and members of household are ineligible to vote.
