Can I eat on the train?
You cannot eat on the train but you may have a beverage if it has a lid.
SunRail offers free, one-click, unlimited Wi-Fi on board of all our passenger trains. FDOT is using two providers to insure coverage. In addition, all passenger trains have standard 110-volt electrical power outlets available to supply power for electronic devices.
Cycling is a great way to get where you need to go from any SunRail station and will be welcome on board all SunRail trains. Luggage compartments will be available at no additional charge should your carry-ons not fit beneath your seat.
FDOT has many park and ride lots that they operate throughout the region. There have been no problems to speak of. The lots will be well lighted and will have regular activity. Some local governments may choose to have additional surveillance at the stations.
There is free parking at all but the Winter Park and four city of Orlando stations. These are considered "destination stations".
The base rate is $2.00 for the first county and $1.00 per each additional County line that you cross. Debary to City of Orlando = $4.00 one way.
You can buy a one way or round trip ticket or a seven day pass.
Each station is equipped with four ticket vending machines so that you can easily get your ticket and be on your way. Riders making a transfer from a LYNX or Votran feeder bus can also use these machines to swipe a transfer card and to obtain a SunRail ticket.How does SunRail connect to things downtown? Half of LYNX's bus routes run through LYNX Central Station. LYMMO is expanding east/west for added free circulator service in downtown. You can access LYMMO at LYNX Central Station and Church Street Station.
SunRail will not run on the weekends. The possibility remains for service to be added for special events. The last train northbound from Sand Lake Road is scheduled to leave at 9:15 PM with arrival at Debary at 10:11 PM and the last train southbound from DeBary will run at 8:00 pm with arrival at Sand Lake Road at 8:56 PM
There is a conductor and an engineer on each train as well as CCTV to monitor the safety and security on the train. Emergency responders have been working with the SunRail team in each jurisdiction for response.
SunRail provides clean and accessible restrooms that include grab bars, mirrors and sinks with lever-operated faucets.
