ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Just when you thought Disney was out of your price range this summer. The resort now has some neat offers for Florida residents. Breaking it down for us is Suzannah DiMarzio of www.disneyworldmoms.com .
Starting with summer savings on rooms. Value resorts are at 25 percent off and moderates are at 30 percent off. And for 35 percent off?
“Those are the deluxe resorts and deluxe villas. Which is where you have the little kitchen area, a studio, or one or two bedrooms,” says DiMarzio.
If you're a foodie, then consider the "Tables in Wonderland" offer. This one's a hundred bucks. ($75 if you're an annual pass holder).
“You can get discounts for 20 percent off food and beverage including alcoholic beverages, which is almost unheard of for you and up to 7 guests,” says DiMarzio.
Seventy restaurants are available for "Tables in Wonderland," and sometimes, as a member, you'll get exclusive invites for special meals inside the attractions.
For deeply discounted wet and wild fun, try the "Florida Resident Water Park after 2 p.m." annual pass. “A lot of the parks clear out after 2 p.m., so it’s not going to be as crowded,” says DiMarzio.
Kids ages 3 to 9 cost $48 plus tax. The cost for kids 10 and up is $60, plus tax. That's all year for Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach.
Golfers can play all 4 world-class courses for the "$59 Play All Day" deal. Swap courses after 18 holes! There's one catch though. It's only good for this coming Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. So time's ticking on this rare steal.
“You should call and book your tee times,” suggests DiMarzio.
Finally, we come to Disney World's four theme parks. Cut the normal price of a ticket almost in half with the 4-day play pass.
“You don’t have to use them in a row. You can use them up to 6 months,” says DiMarzio.
This 4-day play pass cuts the cost for an adult down to $41 a day. Disney prices haven't been that low in years!
“They're saying thank you for all the years you’ve been coming to our parks, and they wanted to give something back,” says DiMarzio.
One more item is Cirque de Soleil at Downtown Disney, which is offering 30 percent off tickets for Florida residents -- only through July 2.
