ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL Fox 35 News) - Grab your wands and your witch's hat! If you didn't know better, you'd think you were in the halls of Hogwarts.

"We're James Potter and Lily Evans. It's been six months of waiting and planning. She made the robe and everything," says one hardcore fan couple.

Witches, wizards, and muggles from all over the country are converging in Central Florida this week. It's the seventh annual Harry Potter Convention where this year's theme is " Infinitus 2010 ."

What makes it even more exciting this year is that it's in the boy wizard's new neighborhood--just down the street from Universal's Wizarding World of Harry potter.

Twenty-four hundred Potter fans are signed up and hundreds more are expected. The three day event includes writing workshops, wizard rock concerts, a magical musical, and even a witches ball. But the best part for all of these fans is The Night of a Thousand Wizards.

On Friday night all of these witches, wizards, and muggles will be dressed to impress for an exclusive night in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

Diana Anderson from North Carolina couldn't be more thrilled. "I'm going tomorrow night. We're having our own time in the park!"
