The key to winning a Super Bowl ad? Psshh!

ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - We're exactly a month away from the Super Bowl, and as we all know, the television ads are just as fun to watch as the game. This year, Brandy Gill of Orlando, has the chance to see his homegrown TV commercial air on that Sunday.

"The name of the commercial is 'Psshh.' Actually, I think the full name of the commercial is 'Zero Calories? Psshh,'" says Gill.

His TV commercial shows a taste test of Pepsi Max. After sipping the soda, the actors can't believe it has zero calories. So they all utter 'psshh' in several different cuts and edits.

"It was actually inspired by my friends. It's just a noise I've noticed people making when they disbelieve something. The sound 'psshh' really means calling B.S. on somebody," says Gill.

Brandy's homespun commercial cost $30 to make. Took an hour to shoot on his lunch break. Did it using his friends and co-workers at the Acropolis Ad Agency in Orlando.

So far, Brandy has beaten out more than 5,000 other contestants to make it to the Top 10 on CrashTheSuperBowl.com. Five Doritos ads, and five Pepsi ads -- all competing to air during Super Bowl XLV.

And this is where Brandy needs your help. He needs your votes. Because in order for his commercial to air on the Super Bowl, he'll need more votes than his competition gets. And only 6 of the 10 commercials will actually get aired. His competition on the soft drink side is fierce.

"There's some pretty funny stuff out there, pretty funny spots that I'm competing against, but I'd like to think we have a good chance," submits Gill.

We won't spoil the end of the commercial. We'll let you watch it online. But it's a good one.

"We thought it was hilarious," laughs Gill.

And here's a bonus: Brandy Gill could win a million dollars.

"Out of the whole Super Bowl, if my commercial is number one, then I could win a million dollars. But it's up to the USAToday Ad Meter," says Gill.
