HOLLYWOOD (WOFL FOX 35) - The dream is back as American Idol kicks of for its eleventh season.
FOX'S Casey Stegall caught up with the judges with a sneak peak of season eleven
It was all smiles from judges Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson as they get ready to kick off the 11th season of American Idol.
"Amazing talent, best talent probably, better than last year," said Jennifer Lopez.
"Better than last year, and I also think it's different once again. I think last year we had such a variety, I think we even have a more of a variety this year, I mean it's just crazy," said Randy Jackson.
With a year under their belts, the two sophomore judges, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler, feel their chemistry worked from day one. "And still does. I think everybody was surprised, but I, I'm surprised that they were surprised," said Steven Tyler.
“It was such an amazing experience last year for me, I knew it was first for us and Randy's been doing it for so long, but it was such a great feeling, it, I think I was just hoping that it felt the same," said Lopez.
And with competition from other singing reality shows and the pressure to mirror the chart topping success of previous winners and finalists the judges say all it takes is finding that one special contestant. "I mean that was our goal last year,” said Lopez.
"And it may not be someone typically from whatever musical genre that's been used to happening, maybe someone different,” said Jackson.
