Children are no longer allowed to play in front of their houses in a Central Florida condo complex.

The Central Park Condos home owners association is forbidding kids under seventeen years-old to be outside without an adult, along with banning bikes and skateboards.

Nancy Stout, the Property Manger of Central Park, said that the complex has child safety as its priority, and that they’ve had issues with kids jumping out in front of cars.

Some residents think the home owners association is violating the rights of children and families.

Attorney Marc Randazza says it violates the Fair Housing Act because it could force a family to decide between having kids or living there.

Stout says it will take a lot of warnings before a so-called violation fine is issued.
