Arrest warrant issued for attempted murder suspect

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Brevard County Sheriff’s Office West Precinct General Crimes Unit Agents have secured an arrest warrant for Ricky Lee Albury, 26, for a shooting which occurred in the area of West Lake Circle and Lakeview Boulevard in Cocoa, on June 21. Agents are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Albury who shot the victim during an argument. Albury’s last known address is 800 N. Fiske Boulevard in Rockledge.

Albury is a convicted felon and has an extensive criminal history. The arrest warrant charges Albury with Attempted Murder, Shooting into an Occupied Vehicle and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. Albury should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. Anyone having information of Alburys whereabouts are asked to call the Sheriff’s Office Communications Center at (321) 633-7162.

Persons wanting to remain anonymous may contact CRIMELINE at 1-800-423-TIPS. All calls to CRIMELINE are confidential and callers can remain anonymous. Callers who provide information to CRIMELINE that leads to an arrest in this case will be eligible for a reward of up to $1000.00.
