BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - A Brevard County firefighter and a pedestrian were critically injured Tuesday morning after they were struck by a car on U.S. 1.
Officials say a car was driving southbound when the driver slammed into a pole causing wires to fall across the road.
A Brevard County firefighter who had responded to the scene was standing with two civilians when another car came and struck the pole and pulled the car around and causing it to strike a firefighter and one of the other people.
