Melbourne International Airport is expanding service with the return of US Airways .
Starting February 11, 2010 US Airways will offer 3 flights daily, 7 days a week, to Charlotte using 70-seat Bombardier CRJ twin-engine jet aircraft.
The agreement marks the return of US Airways to Melbourne after a 12-year absence.
Melbourne International Airport currently serves more than 300,000 passengers annually in east Central Florida, including Brevard, Indian River and St. Lucie counties. The airport, which has three runways and a 200,000-square-foot terminal, currently serves Delta Air Lines, Delta Connection, Baer Air and AirGate Aviation. For more information, visit www.mlbair.com
