Body found in Orlando hotel ID'd

ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Investigators with the Orange County Sheriff's Office have identified the body of a woman found in East Orange County just after 6 a.m. Thursday morning.

Deputies from the Orange County Sheriff's responded to a 911 call at The University Inn at 11731 East Colonial Drive reporting the discovery of a body.

Detectives have yet to determine how Heather Young died or the manner of her death, but it is considered a homicide investigation. They are currently following leads, including the report from a witness who saw a dark-colored Chevy Avalanche pick up truck in the area during the time of the murder. The truck also has shiny rims and dark-tinted windows.
