DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Daytona Beach Police have just released the surveillance pictures from a strong armed robbery at a popular electronics store. It happened Wednesday, at the Best Buy located in the 19-hundred block of W. International Speedway Boulevard in Daytona Beach.

Daytona Beach Police say two black/hispanic women entered the store and stole three Toshiba laptop computers. When the women tried to leave the store, loss prevention personnel tried to stop them. Police say that’s when one of the women struck the loss prevention officer in the face with a computer box. The loss prevention personnel suffered a minor cut.

The two women then took off. The vehicle they fled in was found that same night abandoned at 580 Mason Avenue. Daytona Beach Police say it turns out the car had been reported stolen on Monday, August 23, 2010.

After searching the vehicle, property found associates it with a stolen Toyota Camry that was recovered at 220 Bill France, Suburban Lodge on August 26. The women still haven’t been found.

If anyone knows their identity or any information related to this incident, please call the Daytona Beach Police Department, or Crimeline at 1-800-423-Tips.
