Cadle reelected to chair Orange School board

The Orange County School Board held a reorganization meeting on Tuesday at the Educational Leadership Center.

Joie Cadle was re-elected by fellow board members to serve as chairperson of the board until November 2010. Cadle has been a board member since 2002, and this will be her second year as chairman.

Board members also elected Daryl Flynn to serve as vice-chairman until November 2010. Flynn was elected to the school board in 2006.

Every year the board nominates and approves their Florida School Boards Association's (FSBA) Legislative Representative and Alternate. This year, the board chose Christine Moore to continue as the Legislative Representative and Nancy Robbinson to continue as the alternate.
