Officer shoots man who grabbed taser

EUSTIS, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - An officer who was shot with her own taser fired back at a suspect in Eustis. It all went down in the 300 block of West Ardice Avenue in front of a parking lot full of people.

Eustis Police say things came to a head after a man tried to return a set of keys to his ex-girlfriend. She works at the Dollar Tree, but he isn't allowed anywhere near the store, so when he showed up employees called police.

When the officer arrived, the man grabbed her taser and used it on her. She then pulled out her gun and shot him.

The unnamed man was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center where he is being treated. Eustis Police say he is facing some very serious charges.
