Eustis beating victims recovering

Eustis Police are investigating a robbery involving significant injuries to a 60-year-old woman and a 12-year-old girl.

Police say it happened on November 6, 2009 in the area between Magnolia Avenue and Clifford Avenue where a Street Fest was taking place.

Witnesses described the suspect as a dark skinned black male in his early 20’s at least 6’ tall weighing 180 lbs. They say he had short cropped hair, a slim muscular build and was wearing a black short sleeved shirt, black pants or shorts and black tennis shoes with red on them.

Police say the suspect fled on foot in a northeast direction away from the water fountain display located in the open field off North Grove Street and Clifford Avenue.
