School bus crashes in Kissimmee

KISSIMMEE, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - A school bus crashed at the intersection of Marigold Avenue and San Lorenzo Road early Tuesday morning.

The accident happened around 6:15 a.m. According to school officials, there were no students on the bus at the time of the crash, only a driver who was not hurt.

The bus was on route to pick up students going to Liberty High School, Discovery Intermediate School and Poinciana Elementary School.

Students who used that bus, route 613, are all affected. School officials said the students and their parents are getting calls to make plans for alternate bus pickups.
