MARION COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Early Tuesday morning, Marion County Sheriff's Captain Moshoji Mike Rolls said he saw something a little unusual.
When a silver motorcycle had passed him on the roadway near Interstate 75 and State Road 200 in Ocala, he had to take a second look.
"I thought the driver of the motorcycle was not wearing clothing," Captain Rolls said as he turned his car around.
It was nearly half-past midnight, when motorcyclist took off northbound along I-75, and exited at Highway 40. He continued through a red light and that was when Rolls conducted a stop. It didn't take long for Rolls to realize that the man, identified as Dante Krauss, was naked.
When asked where he had been, the 45-year-old Krauss stated, "I don't know." Roll said Krauss also admitted that he had been drinking.
The officer found a shirt for Krauss to wear and there was a shawl on the handlebars on the motorcycle, used to wrap around Krauss' waist.
Krauss was placed under arrest and transported to the Marion County Jail where authorities said he registered a .178 during a blood alcohol test. Kraus was charged with a DUI, his fifth, according to Marion County officials.
Krauss was later released from the Marion County Jail Tuesday afternoon.
