A Marion County man wanted for attempted second degree murder, is now behind bars. Jermaine Douglas Brown, 27, turned himself in on Wednesday to a Marion County Sheriff's Office detective.

Brown will face charges in the shooting of Bernard Holsey, 34, who was shot Thursday, October 8, in Reddick. Brown had been on the run since the shooting.

Detectives said the victim took a bullet in the right side of his back, was placed in the bed of a pickup truck and taken to a fire station in Lowell, where an emergency helicopter took Holsey to Shands Hospital in Gainesville.

Investigators learned Brown and Holsey were feuding. It's not clear the reasons behind the feud. Browns bond is $50,000
