ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - It’s perhaps a rare look inside the mind of Casey Anthony, as interpreted by a jail pen pal.

FOX 35 has obtained audio recordings in which inmate Robyn Adams talks to family and friends from behind bars about Anthony and conversations with the 24 year old accused of murdering her daughter, Caylee Marie.

There are roughly 800 calls recorded between Adams and others, dating back to July of 2008. It's what happened after Casey Anthony was booked in the Orange County Jail that will have you talking.

Let's go back to December 11, 2008. That was the day Casey was told a meter reader found her daughter's body in the woods near her parents’ home.

Adams told investigators that Casey cried and she was “very scared" that day.

“She doesn't seem to be looking good,” Adams says in one recording in a conversation with another woman. “I'm praying for her everyday."

Once it was revealed to Adams by her friend that some of the items found at the crime scene were traced back to her parents home, Adams says, “I had a feeling it might be. Well nevertheless, it's not my place to judge her."

Adams goes on to say, “I just want there to be a peace, you know? Whatever the case may be whatever she is guilty or not guilty of."

FOX 35 learned that it was just three days after Anthony's last arrest on October 14, 2008, that Adams struck up a relationship with woman accused of murdering her daughter. It was shortly after that time that Adams was relocated.

A friend of Adams' asks, "Why did they move you?," to which Adams replies, "Cause I was talking to Casey Anthony." "Oh, they didn't want you talking to her?" the woman asks. "They did it for me," Adams replied.

Adams said she was trying to encourage Anthony. In the calls she says that the two used sign language through the window to talk. She said she didn't know Anthony was "off limits." Adams says, "I didn't know! I didn't know! I thought it would be okay. It's not like we were talking about the case."

Adams later says she knew she was not suppose to talk to Anython,y but she did anyway. She then sent the letters that she exchanged with Anthony to her father, to be destroyed.

The Anthony defense said she was going to use them to help her get to get some leverage on her own case. Adams denies that. She says she was just trying to be her friend.

"A lot of people don't like when she (Anthony) comes out," Adams is heard saying in one phone conversation. "They will scream baby killer and stuff like that."

She tells a friend in one conversation that Anthony, "was crying yesterday. It is a shame, but I told you guys earlier, nobody has the right to judge anyone in here."

Anthony's defense attorney said Adams was just trying to get a deal on her own sentence by befriending Anthony, but agents with the FDLE said that after they read through the letters that the didn't think Adams had any motive.

Robyn Adams is a convicted drug dealer who spent several months at the Orange County Jail.
