The Orange County State Attorney's Office released an additional one thousand pages of discovery documents in the State's case against Casey Anthony. The documents released on Friday include copies of depositions taken by attorneys for Zenaida Gonzalez’s, the woman involved in a civil case against Casey Anthony. Anthony told investigators woman by the same name kidnapped Caylee.
The documents also include pages of employment history from Universal Studios, where Casey claimed she worked as an event planner.
Casey parents, George and Cindy, and her brother Lee, were questioned by attorneys, as well as James Hoover – who allegedly worked under the Anthony’s private investigator Dominic Casey.
There is an interview with Joy Wray, the woman who claims she had pictures of the area where Caylee was found. She also brought out a boat to help bounty hunter Leonard Padilla in his search of the Little Econ River where he thought Caylee’s body was dumped.
All along, friends of Casey and her family have told investigators that Casey tried to hide the fact that she was pregnant with Caylee for as long as she could. In the new documents, Michelle Murphy, who lived with Lee as a roommate, offered more details.
Murphy told investigators, "I remember the tumor story," adding that, "people were kind of confronting her that she was pregnant."
She said Casey reacted by saying, "Oh no. I'm not sure what it is. The doctor's finally going to do an ultrasound. They think it might be a tumor." It turns out that she was pregnant with Caylee.
Murphey said Casey told she was pregnant in early 2007 for a second time, claiming the father was a friend who had been deployed in the military. When Cindy found out, Murphy told investigators, "I know that Cindy was ... furious."
In another revelation, crime blogger Sean Krause, who operated the website "The Daily BS," sat down with investigators on December 2. He claimed that, in November, he had a conversation with Cindy when he told her, "I really believe your daughter murdered Caylee."
He also claimed that, at the beginning of November, when Bounty Hunter Leonard Padilla had divers in the Little Econ Rive, Cindy agreed with him, quoting her as saying, "I really believe that my daughter ... uh ... actually ... uh ... you know, did something to Caylee."
Krause claimed that when he published Cindy's words in a blog on his website got angry with him. He also told detectives that Cindy said to him, "I believe my daughter, my granddaughter is still alive."
Casey Anthony has been charged with first degree murder of her daughter, Caylee Marie. Her murder trial is expected to begin in October.
