Orlando Police officers are investigating the break-in of one dozen cars which occurred early Thursday morning near this intersection of Golfview Street and Westmoreland in the College Park neighborhood in downtown Orlando.
It was a rude awakening for Lisa Marsh, who admits she is really mad about the incident.
“I looked over and my window was completely gone, and i looked through it, and i could see her window was gone too,” she said. “They stole my GPS, my Sirius radio, and several items with sentimental value to me.”
Across the street from Marsh’s home, crooks smashed another car window and snagged a GPS. The criminals hit cars throughout the area, taking computers, compact discs and spare change.
Marsh spent Thursday filing police and insurance reports and getting her window replaced.
“It's really disturbing me. It just concerns me, you know.”
Orlando Police are also focusing on hotels and restaurants along T.G. Lee Road, north of the Orlando International Airport. Some sixty-two car break-ins have occurred in that area since march.
