Suspected kidnapper ID'd by victim

KISSIMMEE, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - A tip has led to Kissimmee Police identifying the man suspected of carjacking and kidnapping a 33-year-old woman last week at the Osceola Square Mall.

After investigating the tip, Kissimmee Police identified a possible suspect. The victim was shown a photo lineup of man, who she positively identified as Charles Allen Green. Police are now attempting to locate Green, who they believe may be in the West Columbia/Lucerne Terrace area in Orlando.

Kissimmee Police need your help identifying the man who allegedly carjacked and kidnapped a 33-year-old woman and forced her to drive him around for hours while he smoked drugs.

The incident happened around 2:45 p.m. last Tuesday when the suspect entered the victim’s car on the passenger side while she was in the parking lot of the Osceola Square Mall. Police said the man demanded that she drive from the area.

The two ended up in the Gore Street and Orange Blossom Trail area where the victim was able to pull up to a group of people and yell for help. The suspect took off. Police said the suspect did not take anything from the victim and did not harm her.

The incident has female shoppers on alert. "It's just amazing that somebody would do something like that," said shopper Leslie Buchalter. "I'm speechless. I don't even know what to say. It's disgusting."

The suspect is described as a black male between 30 and 35-years old who is 5’10” tall and weighs between 200 and 220 pounds. The victim said the man was wearing a light blue t-shirt with a “South Pole” logo on the front, dark blue jeans and flip flops.

The suspect had a tattoo of a cross on one of his arms and another tattoo on his left calf. Anyone who knows about Green's whereabouts is asked to call Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS.
