Universal Studios employee injured

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Officials say a Universal Studios employee was injured before it opened to the public.

Universal spokesman Tom Schroder says the employee was working Wednesday morning on the Dueling Dragons ride at Islands of Adventure, which was not open at the time.

Schroder says they were "working now to understand what happened" and the ride remains closed. No further information was released.

The injury occurred after 7 a.m. before the park opened.
