ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Orlando police officer Wendell Robey and his wife both turned themselves in Friday morning to the Orange County Jail. Both face charges by the State Attorney's Office.  The two bonded out of jail later in the day.

According to court paperwork obtained by FOX 35 News, Robey and four others are accused of selling complimentary tickets that were given to them or purchased by them which were not supposed to be sold.

According to the affidavit, Robey would also sell used hotel key cards issued to guests at hotels near Orlando theme parks and sell them for five dollars each along with theme park tickets to Universal and Walt Disney World. The key cards can be used to get free parking.

Investigators say Robey worked part time at Universal Orlando as School Resource Officer for Dr. Phillips High School.

Reports say some of the tickets were stolen and some were given to the Orange County Public School system for band participation during the Macy's Parade event.

Reports say Robey admitted to investigators that he made between $10,000 to $15,000 a year selling theme park tickets.

The court paperwork says Robey and friend Eric Swinarski along with three others, who have not yet been arrested, all sold the tickets and key cards online on Craigslist.

The investigation was done by the Metropolitan Bureau of Investigation along with the Orange County Sheriff's Office.

Robey faces multiple charges including grand theft, dealing in stolen property, criminal use of personal identification information of more than 20 persons, fraudulent possession of a theme park admission ticket, engaging in business or occupation without paying the Orange County business tax, failure to register a business with the Florida Department of Revenue and failing to collect and remit the Florida sales tax.
