MAITLAND, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Maitland Police confiscated three weapons including a 9mm Ruger, an AK 47 rifle and a shotgun from a 23-year-old shooting suspect early Tuesday morning.
Just after 5 a.m., police received a 911 call at the Arbors Apartments about a shooting involving two men. Police continued to receive emergency calls as they arrived to a parking lot near the suspect’s apartment.
Police said the suspect, identified as Kevin A. Glynn, was involved with alcohol and drugs. Officers used their taser when Glynn attempted to resist his arrest.
Glynn was taken to the the hospital and will be taken to the Orange County Jail on charges of culpable negligence and shooting into an occupied dwelling after he is discharged.
