Body found in Lake in Orange County

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Orange County Sheriff is investigating a body found in a lake. The dead body was found Saturday morning around 10 a.m. in a lake near Orlando's College Park neighborhood, behind a house at 8 Interlaken Rd.

A dive team and homicide team were called in to investigate the situation. Orange County Sheriff says the body has been in the water for at least a few days. At this time, deputies don't know if its male or female.

So far Orange County sheriff canvassed the area and asked other jurisdictions if there's a missing person in their area. Anyone with information is asked to call the Orange County Sheriff's department.
