Man shot while driving on I-4

One person was shot in downtown Orlando on Friday night. Early reports indicate that two men were driving along Interstate 4 when the driver was shot. The car exited the interstate and ended up near the intersection of Orange Avenue and Central Blvd.

Central Avenue was briefly shut down between Magnolia St. to Hughey Ave. as an investigation was conducted by Orlando Police officers. Orange Avenue traffic was not affected as the road is usually closed on weekend nights.

The victim has been transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center is stable condition.
