APOPKA, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35, Orlando) - The day after Christmas, a man walks into a Fifth Third bank and robs it. Apopka Police say around 11:55 a.m. a white male between 25-35 years of age with tattoos on his neck and arms, entered the Fifth Third bank at 211 Edgewood Drive, walked up to the teller and produced a note stating that this is a robbery and implied that he had a firearm.
The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect, who was wearing wearing a red long sleeve shirt, khaki cargo shorts, black ball cap and white and black tennis shoes left the store and headed towards the rear of Habeneros where he got into the passenger side of a red Dodge extended cab pickup truck.
The truck had black horizontal stripes on the tailgate with ram and 2500 or 3500 in black letters. The suspect was then seen exiting through the Checkers parking lot and turned right onto Main Street, but he wasn't found.
