SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Charging posts for electric cars seem to be popping up just about everywhere and soon here in Central Florida you'll be able to fill your belly while powering your car.
Buffalo Wild Wings is planning to have plenty of places to plug in your electric car at two of its newest locations.
Sunshine Restaurant Corp. CEO Andrew Gross says it’s a plan he’s had that finally fell into place.
“We planned for the future we’ve got room for 8 to 12 cars we have no expectation at all when we open up those spaces will be used but they will and over time there will be demand,” he said.
Buffalo Wild Wings is working with ChargePoint America -- a grant program made possible through the stimulus package. The charge up will be free to customers.
The two locations; one in Clermont on South Hwy 27 and the other in Kissimmee on West 192 near Disney will soon offer free electricity for its electric car patrons in the coming weeks.
