Man busted for stealing neighbor’s laptop

A 19-year-old Poinciana man is behind bars after Osceola County deputies said he stole and attempted to sell his neighor’s laptop online.

Officers said their investigation began when the victim reported his car broken into while he was parked at home. The suspect, Gerald Lester Zellers, was tracked down after officers determined he stole the laptop and tried to sell it.

Zellers was picked up and brought in for questioning where he cooperated with detectives. Zellers has been charged with various theft charges.
