The Osceola County Sheriff's Office says an Osceola County Investigative Bureau agent shot a suspect during an undercover narcotics operation Wednesday night after the suspect pulled a weapon.

Investigators say around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday Osceola County Investigative Bureau agents were conducting an undercover narcotics operation near the intersection of West Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway and International Drive in Kissimmee. Deputies say Anthony Letizia was in a car with the undercover agent and pulled out a gun and pointed it at the agent. The agent gave the take down signal and fired shots at Letizia who was injured. He was taken to Celebration Hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries before being taken to the Osceola County Jail.

Deputies say two other people, Roxanne Wright and a man whom agents are unable to confirm his identity, drove to the location with Letizia, but were not in the car when the shooting took place.

Letizia was charged with Aggravated Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer, Robbery with a Deadly Weapon, Armed Trafficking in Methamphetamine and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.

The unidentified man was charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine, Carrying a Concealed Firearm and Robbery with a Firearm.

Wright is charged with Violation of Probation for a Polk County charge

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement and Osceola County Sheriff's Office are conducting an investigation on the deputy involved shooting.
