An Osceola county man has been charged with aggravated stalking after police say he harassed a woman via phone calls and emails.
Osceola County Sheriff's detectives arrested 21-year- old Christian Eugene Cabrera, a registered felon, Tuesday.Investigators say the investigation began September 17 when deputies took a report from a victim. The 34-year-old victim told deputies since July she was repeatedly harassed by an ex-worker's wife via phone calls and emails. According to the victim, the wife, Haitza Torres threatened to kill her if she did not stop interfering with her marriage. The victim changed her phone number, email account and residence but the threats continued from both Torres and her brother, Cabrera.
On Monday met detectives at the Sheriff's Office regarding the incident and say he cooperated with them and based on the information he provided was arrested and charged with Aggravated Stalking. Cabrera is a registered felon with the state for a 2007 drug charge. He was booked into the Osceola County Jail with a $3,500 bond. The investigation is on-going at this time.
