Missing Putnam woman found

PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - A woman reported missing last Thursday in Putnam County has been found alive.

Major Gary Bowling Kymberly with the Putnam County Sheriff's Office said Kymberly Anne Meredith, 21, of Melrose woman was located in a wooded area about one mile from where she was last seen by family members.

Officers from the Fish & Wildlife Commission, who were assisting the Putnam County Sheriff's Office in the search for Kymberly, located her at about 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

She was suffering from dehydration and exposure and was transported to a Gainesville hospital for treatment.
