Man falls from balcony during Spring Break

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - A Spring Break visitor to Daytona Beach is recovering at Halifax Health Medical Center after falling from a balcony at the Daytona Inn, located at 219 S. Atlantic Avenue. The accident happened on Sunday night. Police said Christopher Grasso, 19, from South Carolina, was on the third floor climbing down to the second floor when he fell.
When emergency crews arrived, they found Grasso on the ground, lying on his back at the southeast corner of the building and bleeding profusely from the head.
Grasso is currently being treated for orbital/facial fractures, though his injuries do not appear to be life threatening, according to officials.
