Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center¿s Imaging Center earns renewal accreditation

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center’s Imaging Center has been awarded a renewal accreditation in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) from the American College of Radiology (ACR).

The center was awarded a 3-year term of accreditation as the result of an April survey by the ACR, which involved a series of tests that assessed image quality, personnel qualifications, adequacy of facility equipment, quality control procedures and quality assurance program.

“ACR accreditation for Florida Hospital Imaging’s MRI assures our patients that we are providing the nation’s highest quality care, demonstrated by our credentialed technologists, specially trained radiologists and state of the art equipment,” said Cindy Winter, Executive Director of Imaging.
