DELEON SPRINGS, Fla. (AP) - Two people were killed and another was critically injured in a Volusia County crash.
The Florida Highway Patrol reports that 51-year-old Alfonso Hernandez had been drinking early Sunday morning before he ran a stop sign and crashed into a sport utility vehicle.
Hernandez and a passenger in the SUV, 22-year-old Angel Gomez Martinez, both died at the scene. A minor in Hernandez's pickup was taken to a nearby hospital with critical injuries. The 19-year-old woman driving the SUV sustained minor injuries.
No charges have been filed in the crash.
