VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - A Daytona Beach woman crashed her car into a South Daytona store Thursday morning.
The South Daytona Police Department says Julie Ho-Mei Lee, 74, was traveling east on Beville Road and made a right turn into the parking lot of the Domestic Violence Abuse Thrift store, mistook the brake pedal with the accelerator pedal and drove the vehicle completely inside of the business.
There were no injuries and alcohol was not believed to be a factor. Charges are pending against Lee for careless driving.
