PORT ORANGE, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - CBL & Associates Properties, Inc. (NYSE: CBL) and The Benchmark Group on Thursday announced the start of construction on a new 74,000-square-foot Belk fashion department store at The Pavilion at Port Orange in Port Orange.
The 550,000-square-foot-open-air-development will also be anchored by a 14-screen Hollywood Theater, with junior anchors: Marshall's, Michael's, Homegoods, ULTA and PETCO.
The Pavilion at Port Orange will also feature a wide selection of specialty retailers and restaurants including AT&T Mobility, Cold Stone Creamery, Davids Bridal, Olive Garden, Pebble Beach Grill, Rack Room Shoes, Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, Visionworks and more.
Located a just south of Daytona Beach, at the intersection of Interstate 95, Taylor Road and Williamson Boulevard off Dunlawton Avenue, the remaining retail and restaurant line-up at The Pavilion at Port Orange is scheduled to celebrate a grand opening in spring 2010. The project is estimated to create an additional 675 jobs for the area, according to CBL & Associates Properties spokesperson Katie Reinsmidt.
