ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - The Orlando Magic’s Glen “Big Baby” Davis is promoting reading through a partnership with the Orlando Public Library.
Davis, a strong reading advocate, recently visited the Orlando Public Library to promote reading to youth. Davis was on hand to help unveil the library’s new KidsConnect website at the Family Health & Safety Fair.
Through his foundation, Davis donated 150 Magic tickets to the Orange County Library System for a special reading promotion. Kids who check out 11 items (Davis’ jersey number is 11) will be entered in a drawing to win a ticket to an upcoming Orlando Magic game. The Magic of Reading contest runs throughout the month of February.
