Paris Hilton Burglary Suspect Pleads Not Guilty

(NewsCore) - The man who tried to break into Paris Hilton's home armed with two large knives pleaded not guilty in Los Angeles Friday to a felony count of attempted residential burglary, RadarOnline reported.

Nathan Lee Parada, 31, was arrested August 24 after allegedly trespassing onto Hilton's home inside a gated community in Sherman Oaks, California about 6 a.m. He banged on the front door and was met by Hilton's boyfriend, who was inside the house at the time.

"What a scary sight to wake up to," Hilton told the entertainment news website. "I can't believe the knives he was carrying. Thank God the police arrived quickly."

Parada was previously arrested on July 26 for allegedly breaking into a Kohl’s department store in Redlands, Calif., stealing more than $20,000 worth of jewelry and defacing the store with graffiti.

Hilton, 29, has hardly been out of the media spotlight for the past few months. On August 27 the heiress was arrested in Las Vegas and charged with possession of a controlled substance after police discovered cocaine in her purse.

Hilton was previously arrested during the soccer World Cup in South Africa on July 2 for allegedly possessing or smoking marijuana. A judge dropped the charges when Hilton’s friend admitted the marijuana was hers.

Two weeks later she was held by police in France over marijuana found in her purse but was released without being charged.
