PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - A small plane stalled and nose-dived into the roof of a manufactured house south of Portland, but the pilot and the homeowner survived.

Neighbors told The Oregonian the pilot was hurt but able to walk away, and the homeowner got her dogs out of the building.

Authorities identified the pilot as 70-year-old George Bahrman and said his injuries did not appear life-threatening.

Neighbors identified the homeowner as Sally Jones. Authorities say she was in the doublewide home when the plane hit the roof shortly after noon on Friday.

A sheriff's department photo shows the plane's tail sticking up from the roof.

The crash site is near the Aurora State Airport in the northern tip of Marion County.
