I joined the FOX 4 staff more than a decade years ago.
I started out on the morning shift, working two-and-a-half years on our No. 1 rated morning show "Good Day". In that time I was part of several award-winning, breaking news stories. You'll see me now on our evening newscasts, covering various stories from Dallas to Fort Worth and all around.
I was born in the Deep South (Biloxi, Mississippi to be exact), grew up in the Midwest (Michigan and Indiana), moved to sunny south Florida where I met and married my wife.
I graduated Ball State University in 1994. I grew tired of the cold Indiana weather, so I moved to Fort Myers, Florida to take a TV news producing job at WBBH-TV.
My next job was as a Reporter at a 24-hour news network in Sarasota, Florida. From there I returned to the Fort Myers market as a reporter with the Fox affiliate. It wasn't long before I would make the trek to Texas and my home at KDFW.
In my time here I have had covered the shuttle disaster in east Texas, Hurricane Rita in south Texas and hundreds of local stories here in North Texas. Thousands of people over the years have shared their lives and their hearts with me on camera, and for that I am truly blessed.
God's greatest blessing to me though, is the time I get to spend with my wife and sons.
I love this station and the talented folks with whom I work, and every day I am proud to call Texas home.
