Keith Landry - FOX 35 News Orlando

Keith Landry

Keith Landry anchors FOX 35 Weekend News at 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. and also reports. Keith anchored coverage of Central Florida's three hurricanes in 2004. One of Keith's most memorable moments as a reporter came on February 1, 2003. While covering a routine shuttle landing at runway 33, Keith found himself reporting live -- locally and nationally -- on the Space Shuttle Columbia tragedy. He has worked in TV news for 22 years, ten of which have been with FOX 35.

Recently, Keith broke a few key elements of the Trayvon Martin story.  He was the first to report Trayvon Martin's name and the first to talk to Trayvon's father.  He also interviewed a witness who claimed he saw a fight between Martin and George Zimmerman.

Before coming to FOX 35, Keith worked as an Anchor/Reporter in Illinois, Oklahoma, Idaho, South Carolina and Michigan. He grew up near Boston, and graduated from Emerson College with a BS in Mass Communication.

Keith is enjoying his new life as a husband.  He is a huge Red Sox and Patriots fan. His interests include sports, politics, history, and enjoying Florida's beaches.  Keith has spent the last few years serving on several boards including the American Cancer Society, Kids Voting Central Florida, Senior Resource Alliance, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, The Golden Rule Foundation, and Shepherd's Promise.  He also served as Chairman of the First Latino Open in May, 2007.
