Tracy Jacim is an award-winning reporter and anchor. Her passion for news and for using the resources a television station provides to effect change has taken her to all parts of the country.

Tracy grew up in Cleveland, Ohio; then graduated from Bowling Green State University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism, a minor in Law, and a specialization in French. After that, she worked as both an anchor and reporter in Tampa, San Francisco, Buffalo, New York; and Omaha. Her return to Florida is a welcome one for both herself and her husband, David. Tampa is where the two first met and both have friends and family in the Sunshine State.

Tracy has received many accolades for her work which covers a broad range. Most recently, she produced and moderated a crowd of more than one-thousand in a series of Townhall Meetings in Omaha which worked through school segregation issues. She covered the flu vaccine shortage in the U.S. and the flu vaccine surplus in Canada for both NBC and MSNBC.

The story that garnered her the most recognition and inspiration involved a magical 11-year-old boy struggling with cerebral palsy and cancer. She used her passion to help that little boy and his family maneuver an insurance system debilitated by bureaucracy and red tape. He gave her a life lesson on courage that she carries with her every day.

Tracy also uses her passion to help the Susan G. Komen Cancer Foundation with various projects.

She looks forward to exploring Central Florida and committing her passion to great causes here.
