In this week’s breakfast club, we were at one of the city’s most popular butcher shops. We're talking about the Butcher & Larder in Noble Square. Owner Rob Levitt told us about what makes his shop unique.
Butcher & Larder only buys whole animals, not just choice cuts, which means sometimes there is a cheaper cut available than what you might find in a butcher’s case at the grocery store, Levitt said.
The shop also has a commitment to small family farms that are independently owned, and they deal directly with the farms to source their animals.
Levitt runs the shop with his wife, who focuses more on the business side of things while he focuses on the meat itself.
