We're getting closer to shave day as part of our St. Baldrick's Fox Chicago Schools Challenge.
Over the last several years, with your help, we've raised $3.5 million for kids cancer research.
That money goes to hospitals here in our area.
Located in southwest suburban Orland Park, Carl Sandburg High School is home to 3,700 students.
The Eagles are dancing to the Baldrick's beat and ready to devour their prey: kids cancer.
Sandburg has joined our schools challenge again and this year once again the eagles are flying high.
They make it fun, too.
Some wheelbarrel racing, a dance-off and hoops contest just to name a few energy raising activities held at the school recently.
Teacher and organizer Kelly Mendoza couldn't be prouder.
"I am amazed at their efforts," Mendoza said. "I can't wait 'til they're once again brave and bald."
