Doing a little spring cleaning isn’t a bad thing, unless you are a bank robber. Chicago FBI agents are looking for a bandit who's cleaned out a few banks since spring has sprung.
It appears this bandit didn’t waste any time getting down to business. Investigators believe he's robbed at least three banks in two weeks. All robberies took place on the city's North side:
March 21st, North Community Bank at 448 N Wells
March 29th, TCF Bank at 4250 N Lincoln Ave
April 9th, TCF Bank at 3750 N Elston
So far, agents say this bandit has not shown the teller a weapon or a robbery note. The FBI's Mike Kosanovich says, "The subject simply walked up to the teller counter and demanded the money." Kosanovich adds, "One significant detail is that in both robberies the subject warned the teller not to use any electronic devices or dye packs."
Before this bandit made a clean getaway with the cash, bank security cameras snapped some pretty clear photos of his face. Investigators would like you to take a good look at them.
Here is a description of what agents say this bandit looks like. He is described as a white male, 45- 50 years old, about 6' 2", 180 pounds, and has brown hair. He is considered armed and dangerous.
